Chadwick Low Vision Center (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through chadwicklowvision.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

This website is not intended to collect health information. Protected health information you share with us as a patient is handled under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and described in our separate Notice of Privacy Practices, which is also available at our office or on request. Please don’t send medical details by email.

You can reach us by phone, by email, or by booking an appointment online. When you call or email, we collect the information you choose to share, such as your name, phone number, email address, and the reason you’re reaching out. We use it to answer your questions and help you schedule a visit.

Please keep health details out of email. Email isn’t a secure way to share medical information, so we’ll talk through those details with you by phone or at your visit.

When you book online, you leave our website and use a scheduling service provided by Compulink, a third-party company. The information you enter there, such as your name, contact details, and appointment details, is handled as protected health information under HIPAA and our Notice of Privacy Practices. Compulink’s own privacy policy also applies. We do not place advertising or analytics tools on our booking pages. You’ll be asked to review and accept Compulink’s terms before you book.

We use a limited set of analytics and advertising tools, from providers such as Google and Meta, to understand how people find our website and to measure our outreach. We set them up with your privacy first:

• We use them only on our general public pages, such as our homepage, service pages, and blog.
• We never place them on our online booking pages, patient forms, or any page where you enter personal or health information.
• We never share protected health information with advertising or analytics providers, and we never use it to target ads.
• We do not build advertising audiences based on health conditions, treatments, or appointments.
• We do not sell your personal information.

When you visit our public pages, these tools may collect basic technical information, such as your browser and device type, the pages you view, how you arrived at our site, and your general location based on your IP address. They may use cookies or similar technologies to do this.

You can limit this at any time. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies, and you can manage ad personalization through Google’s My Ad Center and the ad settings in your Facebook or Instagram account.
